About 2 and half weeks ago my family and I returned home from a week long trip to find a Jack Russell waiting for us on our porch. She has on a pick collar. I have exhausted every local avenue trying to find her owner: local animal shelter, called the vets, ran and ad in the paper. I did get calls, but the ones who called were missing male dogs and were not interested in the one at our house. The shelter did say they would take her if I didn?t find her home, I just worry that she won?t make it to someone?s home?.
I don?t know a lot about her, other than she is female, loves to play fetch. She has her adult teeth, though I am not sure how old she is. She is staying outside, so I cannot speak to her being house trained, nor do I know if she has been spayed, had shots, etc? We have three cats (indoor). One of our indoor cats has bolted outside ?twice now- in a very aggressive manor toward the dog. I can?t imagine how that would go if she was inside. With the weather getting colder I want to find her somewhere warm to go. She has made a chair on our front porch her bed and hasn?t gone far from it since arriving. She barks at normal things, the cats in the window, when a car comes up and when the deer and other wild life are about, but nothing excessive. "Waggles" is located in the northeast ga area. Please contact me if you would like to give her a good, loving, warm home. Edited by searching for JRT home on Oct 29, 2007 5:42 PM |
